Future and Past is the first expansion for Age of Innovation, adding exciting new strategic possibilities. Send your Time Travelers into the future to prepare the land for your arrival, returning as knowledgeable Scholars with new opportunities. Manipulate time by unlocking previously used action spaces, allowing you to perform powerful actions a second time in the same round. These new mechanics create fresh tactical decisions and rewarding combinations for experienced players.

The expansion also increases variability from game to game. Competencies are now drawn from a larger pool than can fit on the Innovation display, meaning some familiar options may not be available, encouraging players to adapt their strategies. It also includes new factions, competencies, palace and innovation tiles, book action and round bonus tiles, and a new city tile for even greater replayability.
